Gabriel Perez is a French Trademark Attorney and a Benelux and European Trademark and Design Attorney. Gabriel has more than 15 years' experience in the field of intellectual property. Due to his considerable experience in the field, Gabriel has gained extensive knowledge of a wide range of IP matters, as well as a deep understanding of clients’ needs and expectations.’

Gabriel's background provides him with an unconventional and original view on IP cases. He manages client portfolios of various sizes and fields of activity, and specialises in the acquisition of IP rights, particularly trademarks, designs, and copyright, and their enforcement. Gabriel also has a solid knowledge of the patent field.

Career history

Gabriel studied Law at the University of Toulouse and Grenoble in France, as well as at the Thames Valley University in the UK. He holds a Masters degree in Law and a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Intellectual Property Law.

Gabriel previously worked in IP firms in Paris and Brussels and has also worked as an in-house IP Counsel for a well-known major French sporting goods store, as well as for a company in the cinema industry.

Work highlights

Gabriel was notably responsible for the implementation of an intellectual asset management system (IAM) in a previous industry role. He now represents and advises several major French- and English-speaking clients at Novagraaf.
