Olivier Boland is President of Novagraaf in France, and is an Intellectual Property Consultant (INPI) specialising in trademarks and designs. He has been a Trademark Attorney at the EUIPO since 1996. Olivier has led the France offices since 2008 and focuses on both the creation of and adding value to IP rights (filing, portfolio evaluation, contracts) and in defending them (formal notice, opposition, confiscation, pre-litigation procedures, negotiations, administrative disputes, counterfeiting).
Career history
Olivier holds a Master of Economic Science degree from Paris II University. Olivier started his career in IP in 1978 in a Parisian IP office, which he managed from 1997. He then joined Novagraaf France in 2000 as a Team Leader.
Memberships
Olivier is a member of the INTA (International Trademark Association), APRAM (Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners), the ECTA (European Communities Trademark Association), the PTMG (Pharmaceutical Trademarks Group) and the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
