Carrie Duijn

Carrie Duijn is a BMM Certified Trademark and Design Attorney with over 10 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property law. She is specialised in strategic management of IP portfolios, Online Brand Protection and IP Enforcement and aims to provide her clients with clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice.

Career history

Carrie participated in two Master education programs; Intellectual Property Law at the renowned IViR institute in Amsterdam, and Private Corporate Law at the University of Amsterdam. She joined Novagraaf in May 2017.

In January 2021, Carrie graduated cum laude from the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Attorneys training institute. She is a Benelux Certified Trademark Attorney.

Carrie previously worked for several Dutch law firms as a lawyer, specialised in Corporate and Intellectual Property Law, where she acquired extensive experience in the field of Corporate Law, IP, Copyright Law and Litigation.

Carrie has extensive experience with domain name enforcement and arbitration procedures as well as with counterfeit and customs enforcement matters.

Furthermore, Carrie is experienced in trademark and design filing strategies and management, registrability of trademarks, trademark infringement, oppositions, cancellation actions, preparing coexistence agreements and strategic and efficient management of (international) IP portfolios.

She also focuses on domain name disputes, notice-and-takedown procedures and Online Brand Protection.
