David Janssens is a passionate IP legal counsel with 15 years of experience. He started his career in the IP team of a multinational technology company, worked as a Trademark and Design Attorney for several years at a well-known IP firm and then spent more than a decade as in-house IP and Legal Counsel at a major international company specialising in building materials. Over his career, David has covered all aspects of IP law and practice. His desire to advise a wider variety of clients and to help them maximise their IP potential led him to join Novagraaf in 2022.
Career history
David holds a Master’s Degree in European Law (ULB) and Intellectual Property Law (KU Leuven).
Work highlights
In the course of his career, David has gained considerable expertise managing large international IP portfolios, including providing tailored advice on filing strategies, overseeing filing projects, enforcing IP rights on- and offline, and drafting and negotiating a wide variety of IP-related agreements within an international scope.
