Perrine Waendendries began her career in intellectual property in 2005. She qualified as a Trademark and Design Attorney and representative before the EUIPO in 2009 and subsequently worked for various IP firms, before joining Novagraaf.
Perrine assists French and foreign clients with filing projects, as well as enforcement and optimisation of their intellectual property rights, and in particular: watching, prior rights searches, filing strategies, prosecution renewals, cease and desist letters, opposition procedures, cancellation or invalidation actions before the INPI and the EUIPO and drafting contracts relating to intellectual property rights.
She partners with clients of all sizes from a wide range of industries including fashion, luxury, cosmetics and watchmaking.
Career history
After initially working at Novagraaf for almost 11 years (between 2005 and 2016), Perrine joined another IP firm, and returned to Novagraaf in 2022.
Perrine holds a Master’s degree in Private Law, and a DESS in Intellectual Property (IP) and New Technologies from the University of Lille II.
Work highlights
Perrine has been co-organiser of the Round Tables training for the EQF (French qualification exam) on Trademarks, Designs and Models since 2017.
Memberships
Perrine is a member of the APRAM (Association of Law Practitioners for Trademarks and Models), and of the ECTA.

Areas of expertise
Perrine has extensive expertise in trademarks, designs and models, copyright, unfair competition, domain names and contracts. She advises clients on the valuation (deposit, portfolio evaluation, contract) of their intellectual property rights and their enforcement (formal notice, opposition, pre-litigation procedures, negotiation, administrative litigation).
