Elli Velissaropoulos

Elli Velissaropoulos is a qualified Trademark and Design Attorney at Novagraaf in France. She has been practising intellectual property (IP) law since 2012, joining Novagraaf in 2023, after working first as a lawyer in several law firms in Athens, Greece, and then spending over six years at a pan-European IP firm. 

At Novagraaf, Elli assists French and overseas clients with trademark and design filing projects, as well as with the defence and development of their IP rights: including: prior art searches, filing strategies, monitoring of registration procedures, renewals, pre-litigation, opposition procedures and invalidity/revocation actions before the INPI and EUIPO, customs surveillance, drafting of contracts relating to IP rights. 

Career history

Elli studied law at the Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II and holds a Master 2 in European and International IP Law from CEIPI.  

She has been an Industrial Property Attorney (INPI), specialising in trademarks and designs since 2018, and is a representative before the European IP Office (EUIPO).

Memberships

Elli is a member of APRAM, the Association of Trade Mark and Design Law Practitioners (Association des Praticiens du droit des marques et des modèles).
