Omar Hassan joined Novagraaf Switzerland in 2024 as a Senior IP Counsel, bringing more than 20 years of experience in trademark, design, domain name and copyright law to his new role.
At Novagraaf, Omar advises clients on IP strategy and protection, litigation and pre-litigation, negotiation and drafting of agreements, customised searches and IP rights monitoring.
Career history
Before joining Novagraaf, Omar spent more than 15 years working in-house experience at Nestlé and Merck. Previously, he also worked at several renowned IP law firms in Switzerland and Singapore.
Omar holds a Bachelor of Laws, LLB (Hons) from the University of London and has a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Geneva.

Omar is member of the Swiss IP association AROPI (Association Romande de propriété intellectuelle).
