Lise Luciani

A Patent Attorney, Lise Pascual-Luciani provides patent advice to clients in the areas of pharmacology, biotechnology and biomaterials, and in particular, in genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, neurobiology, embryogenesis, fertilisation, reproductive medicine, developmental biology, immunology, human molecular immunogenetics, genetic diseases, rare diseases, infectious diseases, metabolism, nutrition, endocrinology, plant biology, haematology, the synthesis of monoclonal antibodies, purification processes of molecules in the blood, the transplantation (haematology, blood system, transfusions, biomaterials), veterinary medicine, cosmetology and dermatology (design and application of bioactive molecules, natural bioactive molecules), tissue collections (nucleic acids, antibodies, cell lines), screening, crystallography, medical devices, imaging, animal models, NMR, spectroscopy, sequencing and micro-arrays. Lise also assists clients in the areas of chemistry and materials. She develops IP strategies for the protection of inventions, drafts supplementary protection certificates and advises on the validity of third-party patents.

Achtergrond

Lise holds a Masters degree in pharmacology (Ecole Polytechnique, Nice-Sophia Antipolis). She also holds a degree from the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI), specialising in patents (University of Strasbourg) in 2003. She has been a French Patent Attorney since 2010 and a European Patent Attorney at the EPO since 2006.

Lise is also a teacher at the IEEPI and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris for businesses specialising in the areas of biotechnology and medicines.

Lise started her career in IP in a large pharmaceutical group in 2003 and joined Bredema in 2008 and then Novagraaf technologies, following the merging of the two offices in 2009.
