Marie-Noëlle de la Fouchardière joins Novagraaf as Managing Director for patents in France

IP specialist Novagraaf is pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Noëlle de la Fouchardière as Managing Director – Patents at Novagraaf Technologies in France. Marie-Noëlle brings extensive experience to the role, having previously been head of a large patent department at one of France’s most innovative companies, and renowned for the excellence of its patent licensing business. Her appointment represents a further important step in Novagraaf’s growth strategy in the patent field in France.

Marie-Noëlle brings nearly 30 years of experience to her new position at Novagraaf. She began her patent practice at Philips in 1992, and subsequently worked in various managerial positions at Orange, Technicolor and InterDigital. She joined Novagraaf in September 2019 to lead the patent department at Novagraaf Technologies in France.

Her specialist industry area is information technologies and communications. In addition to her leadership position, Marie-Noëlle manages case files, conducts freedom-to-operate analysis, and manages licensing and litigation.

Marie-Noëlle holds a diploma in Engineering from the Institut Supérieur d'Electronique de Paris, where she specialised in networks. She also gained degrees from the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) in Patents, Trademarks and Designs, and in Patent Litigation in Europe. She is a qualified French Patent Attorney, a European Patent Attorney (EPO) and a French Trademark Attorney.
